A little bit brigther – children's ICU at Hanover Medical School

Naturally, graffiti and bright colors can never be the most important factor in a children’s hospital. But they contribute to creating a friendly (or at least less frightening) atmosphere. Kochstrasse™ designer Laura Drechsler, under her private project persona "kalagrafik" together with Kai Gläser, created wall paintings for the children’s ICU at Hannover Medical School. Germany’s largest intensive care unit for minors and infants attends to 1.000 patients every year. A team of 80 doctors, physicians, nurses, psychologists and pastors looks after newborn babies, kids and teenagers.
